ATTENTION ALL TUMBLING CLASS PARTICIPANTS! |
| |
The Fairview Parks & Recreation Authority (FPRA) has chosen to modify the way payments are taken for all tumbling classes. Kids Fun Night Out is not included in this modification and will be run the same as before. This modification will result in your registering with and making payment to the Fairview Parks & Recreation Authority for all tumbling classes. You can choose to sign up and pay for one session or multiple sessions within a seasonal program. As with all of our programs, there will be no refunds for missed classes unless there is a doctor's excuse. Walk-in sign-ups and payment to Coach Carl is highly discourages. In this way, the FPRA will be able to properly assist the tumbling coaches by eliminating excess time spent managing registration/wiaver forms and money. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the FPRA office at 474-5077 or email parks-rec@fairviewtownship.com. We accept cash, checks and money orders. You may make checks and money orders payable and mail to: FPRA, 7471 McCray, Fairview, PA 16415. |

QiGong in Nature |
| |
| QiGong (pronounced chee-kung) is an ancient art that comes to us from China. The art consists of very slow and gentle movements. These movements combined with purposeful breathing, visualization and meditation begin to harmonize the body, mind and spirit thus bringing them into balance. This class is geared around the Wu Yi Jie He system: a 24 posture therapeutic routine that will cleanse your body of toxins, restore and increase your energy, reduce anxiety, improve balance, and help you to maintain a healthey and active lifestyle. These movements are easy to learn and adaptable to people of all abilities and limitations. They can be practiced standing or sitting in a chair. Please bring water and wear light and loose clothing and thin soled shoes or socks are recommended. Minimum 5 students needed to hold the class. Class will be held inside the Brugger House if bad weather permits. |
