(Purpose) To build a public recreation program into and about public parks, schools, grounds, and facilities for the benefit of the citizens of the community. In order to fulfill this purpose, each member has a responsibility of several programs, to see that instructors are hired, facilities available, and programs carried out as indicated.

The authority board is made up of 7 volunteer members who serve up to five years. Four members are appointed by the Township and three by the School District.  The Director is not on the board.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM at the Fairview Township Municipal Building, 7471 McCray Road, Fairview PA. Meeting are open to the public. Office hours are Monday thru Friday from noon until 4:00PM.

Program schedules are mailed four times a year: Spring in February, Summer in May, Fall in August and Winter in November.

ALL PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO AND COST THE SAME FOR RESIDENTS AND NONRESIDENTS.
